Historique :	A l'origine, le groupe se trouvait certainement dans un enfeu de l'église détruite à la Révolution. Les moines ayant installé la nouvelle poterie à l'emplacement où avait été remontée la Mise au tombeau, celle-ci a été déplacée (1990-1991) dans son emplacement actuel.

Précision sur_l'état :	L'examen du restaurateur atelier Legrand met en évidence des restaurations du XIXe siècle en plâtre effectuées sans doute après la Révolution.
