Description architecturale :

Église de plan allongé
La nef est terminée par un chevet plat.
La tour-clocher est couronnée d'une flèche pyramidale en ardoise.

Étapes de construction :

L'église Saint-Hilaire remonte au XIIe siècle mais a été profondément remanié en 1878.

Histoire :

A la reconstruction de la nef de l’église, celle-ci a été déportée à 180°. Du coup, la statue du saint patron s’est retrouvée à l’extérieur du monument, sur le clocher, situation tout à fait inhabituelle en Normandie. Ce qui signifie que l'église n'était pas orientée à l'origine.
